We began the new month with the last measurable rain for a while. Your observer only felt a couple of momentary rain drops on Wednesday morning and nothing more! Tuesday, we had an amazingly beautiful succession of warm sun, cool breeze, rocky mountain high weather.

Water level is definitely past peak this weather week. Braided flow below Cement Creek Confluence with the Animals flow way back. As snowmelt subsides, we did have an unexplained .25 measured Friday and Saturday mornings combined. This gave a real boost to lots of flower activity.

Wednesday: 24.0°, With a cool air mass conditioning in our realm. As the sun burned its way through the cloud cover, we experienced gradual warming. This was easily contoured by a chilly and relentless up canyon wind! High 48.0° Thursday 24.4°.
