I took this photo on August 28th just above the Artist Cabin along Highway 550 south of Red Mountain Pass. Sadly, the wetland area directly behind the moose in this photo will likely be bulldozed in the near future for the construction of a parking lot and employee housing for the proposed Silver Cloud Lodge.
