Wednesday: 28.9° thick gray mids with shrinking blue patches during the morning. An up-canyon breeze became full blown snow scouring during early afternoon. Less clouds and enough sun to feel some warm later on. 41.1° high Thursday: completely calm, 10° above.

Wednesday: 6.0° at 7:00 am, mids moving in out of the southwest. Calm valley floor. Light snow showers by 8:00 am. More clouds than sun filtering light during the morning. Increasing breeze by mid-afternoon. 37.0° high Thursday: 1.0° still with temperature gradually rising.

Frozen Time!

Wednesday: 15.4° at 7:00 AM, 1.4 inches of powder. Lots of wind overnight and into the new day. Arctic twisters- rather than snow devils- they were huge and ran up Cement St. for multiple blocks! Snow blowing up from valley floor hundreds of feet over by the Animas beyond the depot.
