He had a feature spot on KHSTV where his show Extreme Sports with Jason Ebelheiser was an instant hit. Upon his graduation in 2003, he followed his passion for filming and was accepted into the cinematography program at Dutchess County Community College, where he perfected his craft, including becoming a certified drone pilot.
Upon completing his degree, Jason embarked on an adventure of a lifetime and moved across the country to the small mining town of Silverton, Colorado, where he was hired to be the videographer for Silverton Mountain, an extreme guided ski area. He was then recruited by Matchstick Productions, where he was a featured cinematographer for their many world-renowned, high-octane adventure movies. With experience under his belt, he then was able to expand his adventurous nature by creating his own freelance film company, EbelVideo. His experience in adventurous sports led to his collaboration with many well-known professional athletes and sports equipment companies. He was sought out and well liked for his joyful and generous nature.
Outside of his film work, Jason found joy in both winter and summer sports and photography, basically if it was in nature he was a full participant.
