150 YEARS AGO From the April 27, 1876 edition of the La Plata Miner: MURDER OF A DEPUTY SHERIFF.It appears some trouble existed about a water ditch, between a person by the name of Lamb, and the Lambert family, composed of father and three sons, who were formerly residents of Silverton.
