The 4th of July in Silverton was successful despite the wildfire burning just over the mountain near Ouray and the local cancellation of the fireworks show. Town became full of tourists on Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th, but felt slower on Sunday when everyone started heading home after the holiday.
