Locals Celebrate Summer by Running 50 Miles

The San Juan Solstice Run takes place in Lake City, CO, and is 50 miles in length. This year’s course was especially challenging, with traverses across large snow fields and creek crossings with high swift running water. 290 runners began the race, and 211 finished.

The curbs and gutters on the west side of Greene Street are now being installed, but construction is moving slower than originally expected. The projected completion date for the project, which begins at 7th street and extends to 11th street, was initially July 17.
