The San Juan Solstice Run takes place in Lake City, CO, and is 50 miles in length. This year’s course was especially challenging, with traverses across large snow fields and creek crossings with high swift running water. 290 runners began the race, and 211 finished. Of those finishers, Silverton was represented by several locals. Patrick Dawson even had a top-10 finish!
