Found: Dog Lost During 4th of July Fireworks Show

Konni, the one-year-old Belgian Malinois puppy, was here on vacation with her owners, James and Dana Lowery of Phoenix, Arizona, for the 4th of July holiday. They were camping down by County Road 31 near the P&G mine area when she ran off during the 4th of July fireworks show.

Public Notice- Road Closures Greene Street and County Roads 2 and 110 within the town limits of Silverton, north of 15th Street, will have one lane closures on Wednesday and Thursday, July 31 and August 1 for crack sealing.

International Soccer Camp In Silverton

Silverton hosted two international soccer coaches from Poland last week, and local kids participated in an international soccer camp through Challenger Sports, organized by Jordan Bierma and Destiny Babb, through Silverton School.

OHV Rollover on Buffalo Boy Road

On Monday, July 8th, 2024, an Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) was traveling back down the offshoot road of Stoney Pass, San Juan County Road 3B, which is known as the Buffalo Boy Road. The OHV went over the edge and rolled down as the four passengers jumped out of the tumbling vehicle.
