Last weather week we saw 5 days with very little to show for it precipitation.This week has become progressively better in the monsoon rain department. Actually, it took off just before we began playing over at The Mike Geryak Stage around 11:30 Saturday morning.

Iwould like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make Mike’s Celebration of Life such a special day. The weather certainly didn’t cooperate, making it even more meaningful to see so many come out to celebrate Mike.

First Friday Art Walk Celebrates Silverton’s Treasures September 4 Silverton Creative District’s First Friday Art Walk returns on Friday, September 4, from 4–7 p.m. in downtown Silverton.

SMPA Plans Power Outages for Silverton and San Juan County

San Miguel Power Association had a planned power outage on Tuesday, September 1st, in San Juan County north of Silverton, affecting 56 utility customers. The outage was for safety work, such as tree trimming around the power lines, and lasted about three hours.
