Thank You Baker’s Park Volunteers Thanks to everyone that came out for Silverton Singletrack Society’s first ever Baker’s Park trail work session! We got some things done, met some new people, and had some fun. We’ll do it again soon. Stay tuned for details.

Wettest Week

During this weather week (1.32” plus a little from last week, .51”), we have had more measurable rain than at any time this summer. Monday late afternoon, we experienced the most intense thunderstorm activity so far this season, with lots of lightning, hail, and .70 measurable rainfall.

More Monsoons!

Wednesday: 50.0 degrees at 7:00 AM, 0.12 inches in the can. Still with wispy fog above valley floor. More subtropical moisture streaming in overhead. Wet light rain before dark period after a day of promising cloud build followed by repeated dissipation. 71.7 degree high Thursday: 49.

Monsoons Return!

Wednesday: 30.4.3 degrees at 7:00 AM. Completely clear and calm. Limited cumulus build later on. With a strong up canyon breeze. Maires Tales cirrus followed by a windy Bank of cirrus before dark. 75.5 degree high Thursday: 37.7 degrees motionless with mids building up in the southwest.

Cool Summer Breeze!

Wednesday: 45.6 degrees still with scuddy mids which gave way to temporary clarity plenty of afternoon cloud build, giving good shade. We’re cooler than July! 75.3 degree high Thursday: 41.9 degrees motionless, 0.01 inches for rain overnight. Wisps of fog on Kendall. Otherwise clear.

Delicious Relief From Rain!

Wednesday: 42.4 degrees at 7:00 AM, calm with a few tiny Cyrus out of the southwest. Cumulus by late morning followed with dark clouds billed during the afternoon along with a bit of Thunder. Mostly another hot day! 82.7 degree high Thursday: 50.

Withering and Wilting Weather!

Wednesday: 49.1 degrees still with plenty of mids overnight and on into the day. Plenty of cloud build leading into late afternoon thunder and even some big raindropsnot enougharound 5:00 AM. 82.4 degree high Thursday: 44.0 degrees calm with a nice sunrise. Mids moving throughout the southwest.

Hideously Hot!

Wednesday: 43.5 degrees at 7:00 AM. A few cumulus above with a light-up canyon breeze. Even with increasing air movement, this- our first day over 80- felt hot! 80.2 degree high Thursday: 38.1 degrees still with a build of cumulus over Snowden. Otherwise, clear.
