First Day of Train Brought 495 Passengers

The Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad started the summer season of 2025 with two steam engine trains on Saturday, May 3rd, which was also the birthday of the narrow- gauge rail system of the San Juans founder, Otto Mears.

The Second Annual Silverton Business Summit Was Well Attended

Just days before the DSNGRR train season kicked off the summer with the daily steam train arriving to town, San Juan Development Association hosted their second annual Silverton Business Summit to the largest crowd of existing and future business owners yet.
