Open! Museum, Mayflower Mill & Old Hundred Mine Tour!

The San Juan County Historical Museum and Jail, Mayflower Gold Mill, and the Old Hundred Gold Mine Tour are all OPEN for the season. The museum and mill opened last Saturday, May 20th, and the first customers of the museum’s season were a young couple, Marley and Justin, from Moab, UT.

Town of Silverton Trustee Meeting Update

Monday night, the Town of Silverton Trustee meeting started with the swearing-in of Olivia Edwards “Liv,” the new trustee who will fill the trustee seat until the next election. The current trustees appointed her in a special meeting on Monday, May 16th.

Silverton Becomes a Main Street Community!

In May, the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) Colorado Main Street Program accepted the Town of Silverton as an official Main Street Community!
