The San Juan County Historical Museum and Jail, Mayflower Gold Mill, and the Old Hundred Gold Mine Tour are all OPEN for the season. The museum and mill opened last Saturday, May 20th, and the first customers of the museum’s season were a young couple, Marley and Justin, from Moab, UT.

Trustees Unanimously Appoint Olivia “Liv” Edwards

At Monday night’s Town of Silverton Trustee’s special meeting, the current board of six unanimously voted to appoint Olivia “Liv” Edwards to fill the remaining year of the seat vacated by former trustee Jeff Davis. Davis vacated his seat this last March, and the hunt for a replacement is over.
