Silverton Snowscape Weekend Successful Despite Glitches

Silverton Snowscape created a fun and festive atmosphere over the weekend, although the Saturday Night Skiing and Free Ski Sunday were canceled due to the chair lift going offline. This year, the adult division of the cardboard derby was just as full of laughs as the kid’s division always brings.

It’s now official: the speed limit on every street in Silverton is 15 mph. This week, the town’s public works crew installed new speed limit signs on Greene Street, clearly defining the universal top legal speed in town.
