Silverton Banked Slalom Races Third Year Running

The third annual Silverton Banked Slalom races are set for this Saturday, February 24th, and are already almost sold out. They capped the participants at 150, and as of the time of this interview, Cory Smith stated they were at 120 registered and were most likely working towards a waitlist.

Silverton Skijoring Was The Biggest Event Yet!

This past weekend, the Silverton Skijoring team registered the most participants yet, with a whopping 93 teams. They also had the most first-time skiers participate, with some being locals like Brian Gardner.

Wednesday: 32.3° high 23.5°, slight up canyon breeze. 0.8 inches heavy snowfall with dense cloud cover that the streetlights we’re still on until 7:15 AM plus! Snow and blowing snow followed with an up canyon rush.
