Meet Fred

Meet Fred, one of the newest residents of the San Juan Mountains. While it is difficult to tell for certain, my best guess is that this calf is a male. Fred was born near the end of May and is less than a week old in these photos.

El Bandito at the Bent Elbow Opens to Crowds of Locals

The newest restaurant in Silverton, El Bandito at the Bent Elbow, just opened for business the Friday night before Memorial Day to a crowded room full of locals. The crowds continued into the holiday weekend.
