Farmers Market Begins

Silverton’s first farmers market of the summer was Tuesday, July 2. The market is full of produce, crafts, and goodies and will happen every Tuesday, 8 am-12 pm.

Board of Trustees Approves the Wyman Hotel Expansion

At the last Town of Silverton Board of Trustees meeting, the board held a public hearing and then voted unanimously in favor of the planned expansion of the Wyman Hotel located on the corner of 13th & Greene St.

Drug Education and Prevention Programs Help Local Communities

It seems as if every community, big or small, has been impacted by the problems associated with substance use and drug overdose. Within these communities, these problems extend into the family unit, with people becoming addicted and dying because of drugs.
