Wednesday July 28th 50 degrees at 7 a.m. with .35 inches in the can. Patches of fog. 3 torrential downpours up canyon - way less in town. 72.1 degree high. Thursday 42.9 degrees bottom out with .10 inches in the can. Clear with only a few fog patches. Thunder, lightning, and rain at 7 p.m.

Wednesday 48.3 7 am. Cloudy with light rain and foggy until late afternoon. 66.2 hihg. Thursday 37.7 bottom out. Fain cirrus, mostly clear. Enough cloud build to keep our high at 75.7. Pleasant breeze. Friday 39.7 bottom out. A few small cumulus. Rapid cloud build, light rain and a double rainbow!

Dear Silverton, About 4 years ago, a nice lady named Alicia from Silverton found me under a bush all alone and far from here. I was only about 4 months old. She brought me to 9318’ on an exciting trip up the Million Dollar Highway.

Dear Editor, On Saturday June 26th 21 members from the Uncompahgre Valley Trail Riders ATV-Snowmobile Club made a trip from Ironton Park to Silverton for lunch and to visit with the local people about ATV’s having access to the streets of Silverton.
