To the Silverton Community

I know that we are only a few weeks past our last community wide election but there is another election before us that concerns our entire community. There is a Silverton School Board election on November 2. It has been 12 years or longer since our community has held a school board election.

Dear Editor,

Brilliant move to eliminate ohv from Silverton. How you going to make up loss revenue?? Your business owners must love it. Sadly, we will not be back after years of family vacations in Silverton. Yes 8 families canceled not to return. Your liberal city politicians will finally get their ghost town.

Dear Editor

I would like to thank the town of Silverton for the hospitality in town and for the opportunity to ride and stage our OHV’s. I hope this relationship continues for many years to come.

Disenfranchised My vote will likely not be counted in the upcoming special election, nor my wife’s. We’ve been Silverton residents since 2004. Virginia currently serves our country with the U.S. Department of State in Zimbabwe, where I am residing seasonally.
