Wednesday at 7am 11.4° above with 1.8 inches of snow and .12 for water. Tiny flakes continue for a while and then blue sky with slowing snow out of the north and a 21.5° high. Thursday -22.6° (our coldest) Ice fog along the Animas. Cirrus out of the NW by 9am.

A quiet and peaceful week weather wise and otherwise. Day five temperatures were consistently above freezing with three days barely above 40 degrees. Nights were mostly below zero with Sunday’s ten below on coldest reading. When Mother Nature relaxes and takes it easy, so do we.

Wednesday -7.1 degrees at 7am with fain cirrus and variable blue all day. Gradual warming to 45.1 degrees. Pleasant light breeze. Thursday -1.2 degrees bottom out. Still with occasional cirrus increasing as the day continued. Too nice to be inside! 49.2 degree high. Friday -4.

Wednesday 16.1° at 7am with upcanyon light variable horizontal snow. This continued all day and into the night. 17.4° high. Thursday our 7am temperature was the same as the daytime high! Overnight we reached 15.4°. More wind drifting and horizontal transport with a 20.8° high. Friday 17.

Wednesday December 22 we were -3.5° at 7am. However, bottom out followed shortly thereafter -4.9°. A bit of blur overhead with some faint cirrus. We were still below freezing at 1pm yet made out high for the week 42.4° later on. Thursday 14.7° above was out low overnight with 32.1° by 7am.

Wednesday, 15.2 at 7am. 4.5 inches measured with lots of wind drift. Water Content .64. Flurries and air turbulence during day with a 23 high exactly. Thursday -14.1 below. Cirrus edging in overhead. Occasional clearing 32.1 high gusty snow blowing wind strictly on the valley floor. Friday -4.
