Letter to the editor:

Would you please publish a list of movies made in Silverton. I noted in the Thursday August 11, 2022 paper a picture of the Stillwater Standard used in the movie “Mavrick Queen”. I never heard of it and would like to see it.

Wednesday- 41.0 degrees at 7 am, with only a couple of cumulus clouds forming to our west. Lots of sun followed by more clouds with a refreshingly cool breeze. 73.7 degree high Thursday-36.1 degrees at 7 am, clear with a gentle down canyon breeze.

■ Scout Edmondson, Editor On Friday, September 9th, the Silverton Film Office will host filmmaker David Dibble at the Grand Imperial Hotel, and play a variety of his films that were shot in and around the town of Silverton.

Wednesday-45.6 degrees at 7am, with cool fog down to the ground! Rain showers in the morning and afternoon. 66.5 degree high. Thursday- 43.7 degrees at 7am, fog reaching the valley floor. Plenty of sun and gradual late afternoon clouds building.

Wednesday – 46 degrees at 7am. Dark and promising clouds later on with no precipitation. A 77.3 degree high. Thursday – 41.1 Clouds early with late morning and afternoon build. Big drops for a short time. Cool afternoon breeze and a 75.7 degree high and distant thunder. Friday – 43.

Wednesday 46.2 degrees at 7am. Fog and clouds rapidly disappear then built back in after a warm and sunny morning. Later, rain and 76.1 degrees chilled breeze and thunder, but only a sprinkle. Thursday 43.5 degrees and absolutely no fog! Thin cirrus clouds and 75.

Wednesday- 48.3 degrees, fog surrounds our valley. Cool and damp day with drizzle rather than rain. 70.5 degree high. Thursday- 47.8 degrees, calm air with mid level grey clouds and wisps of fog in all directions. Later the sky grows dark with a bit of thunder.

Wednesday-43.3 degrees, calm with rapidly moving cumulus clouds out of the Northwest with a short rain shower. 79.5 degree high. Thursday-44.0 degrees and more Northwest clouds, and calm. Only a few sprinkles! Hot and sunny otherwise. 79.7 degree high. Friday-41.1 degrees, clear and still.

Wednesday- 37.4 degrees at 7am, calm and clear. Cloud build during the morning. Thunder early afternoon followed by a nice soaker and low 60’s. 73.2, degrees and 23 inches precipitation. Thursday- 43.8 degrees, calm with dark scuddy clouds to the west and a veiled sky elsewhere.
