Beginning next Tuesday (9/2/25), travelers will encounter 5-hour full road closures on US 550 Red Mountain Pass, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from September 2 to 18, to allow for electrical power line work. San Miguel Power Association will require the closures, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., for the next three weeks in September. The electrical power line work is weather-dependent.
