The Stairway to Heaven was hellish for at least one ice climber this weekend, who escaped with relatively minor injuries after a harrowing fall on the popular, Eureka-area climb. Ruben Harris, of Albuquerque, plummeted from the third or fourth pitch of the climb late Sunday while climbing with three others.
