Griff Pinto, a local Silverton 12-year-old youth athlete, finished second place in the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic Race in his division this last Saturday, coming in at 3 hours and 19 minutes, beating the train from Durango to Silverton. This was also the first time the Iron Horse race had a 14-year-old and under race division due to the amount of youth who registered to race this year.
