In November 2022, the town of Silverton applied for an Environmental Protection Agency Brownfield’s Multipurpose Grant to target environmental cleanup sites around town that will also improve the quality of life for residents.
The town of Silverton was awarded $800,000 to clean up three specific environmental sites while staying on target with the community- driven Master Plan.
