The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad announced late Wednesday it will be voluntarily abbreviating service. Effective immediately the train will run two steam train trips to Hermosa from Durango at a reduced fare. The train will also implement a new highline trip using the railroad’s new diesel locomotive.
