Governor to appoint new district court judge
The Sixth Judicial District Nominating Commission has nominated three candidates for a district court judgeship created by the retirement of the Hon. William L. Herringer. The vacancy will occur on March 9, 2022. Nominees Anthony Edwards of Silverton, William Furse of Dolores, and Kim Shropshire of Durango were selected by the commission on Feb. 14, 2022.
