“This is coming to a stop.” That’s the message from Sheriff Bruce Conrad after a rowdy Fourth of July weekend that nearly claimed the life of a 14-year-old boy at a party on the Shrine Hill.
Conrad said the youth suffered severe alcohol poisoning and was airlifted to Mercy Medical Center in Durango early Tuesday morning, July 5.
