There was a peaceful protest before Monday night’s town board meeting. The crowd said the pledge of allegiance, sang the anthem and then the crowd dispersed without any incident.
After collecting rhubarb from the many plants in Town, Jackie Kerwin and the rest of library crew gets ready to make pies for the 4th of July. Kerwin has been making rhubarb pies as a long-standing tradition and all proceeds go to the Friends of Library. She even knows where all the best rhubarb plants grow and can be seen harvesting about a week before the 4th.
