At the County Commissioner meeting last Wednesday, the Commissioners discussed wildfire precautions and evacuation plans for Silverton as they know we are headed into another dry summer. Colorado as an entire state was below average for snowfall this past winter and the Commissioners were expecting Silverton to enter stage 1 fire restrictions soon.
