Silverton Postmaster Update Starting May 5th, 2025, all incoming mail and packages will be dropped off at 8:00 am, and the driver will pick up any outgoing mail and packages from the day before at the same time. There will be no more outgoing mail in the afternoon.

At this year's annual Colorado City & County Management Association’s conference that was held in Glenwood Springs at Hotel Colorado, our local Town of Silverton Administrator Gloria Kaasch-Buerger won the coveted “Manager of the Year” award during the opening ceremony of the three-day conference.

The Silverton School Board has announced that Elizabeth Barszcz has been named the sole finalist for the position of Superintendent of Silverton Public School, following the retirement of longtime superintendent Kim White, who has led the district with dedication and distinction for over 20 years.

The youngest Silverton Miner's fan joined the basketball fun on Saturday. Theodore John Blue was born at Mercy Hospital on March 11, 2025, to Sophie and Ben Blue. He weighed 6lbs 11 oz.
