To Our Community, As many of you know, my first “baby” was the Silverton Family Learning Center. It’s why I landed in Silverton over 16 years ago. It continues to be a big part of my life, but in a different way, as my daughters now get to take part in a high-quality, early childhood education.

Last month, on August 6th, around 11 pm that Wednesday night, the Silverton Medical Rescue Team received a 911 call from a family coming off the Ice Lakes Trail who were parked at the intersection of the South Mineral Campground dirt road and Highway 550.
