Last month, on August 6th, around 11 pm that Wednesday night, the Silverton Medical Rescue Team received a 911 call from a family coming off the Ice Lakes Trail who were parked at the intersection of the South Mineral Campground dirt road and Highway 550. A woman who was 6 months pregnant was in distress and believed she may be going into early labor.
