The Gerardo Acosta Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Silverton School graduates was created by Austin and Casie Lashley after the loss of one of their dearest friends, who felt more like family, Gerardo Acosta Sr. on June 23rd, 2019.

Public improvements have begun for the Anvil Townhomes. Water & sewer lines will be installed on Martha Rose Street to service the units. The application period for the Waitlist for interested buyers opens on Monday, September 29th!

135 YEARS AGO From the Sept. 27, 1890 edition of the Silverton Standard: ELECTRIC LIGHTS COME TO SILVERTON. At about six o’clock last Saturday evening, the electric light was turned on for the first time in Silverton.
