Silverton Skijoring Was a BLAST

According to Karen Sites, the organization’s president, this past weekend’s annual Silverton Skijoring event was packed with spectators and had about 70 teams. This year’s course was better than ever, with course designer Rob Conaty totally wowing everyone with the big split jump on 11th street.

Snowscape Weekend Recap

Snowscape weekend was busy in Silverton! The cardboard derby was really rockin’ and rollin’, featuring the usual fast-moving homemade sleds careening downhill at Kendall Ski Area. There were spills and thrills, including a notable crash colliding with photographer Wesley Berg documenting the event.

Yeti Dunes Golf Tournament

The annual Yeti Dunes tournament went off on time with no frost delays. Sixteen teams competed for cash winnings, door prizes, and a full year of bragging rights. The weather was some of the best the tournament has seen in years.
