120 YEARS AGO From the March 7, 1903 edition of the Silverton Standard: IN SERIOUS TROUBLE. Last Sunday morning about 4 o’clock Ben Dunston, a Cornish man who has lived in this city for several years, came down from the Unity tunnel and being drunk, proceeded home and took a shot at his wife.

Roberts Road Approved by Trustees

Monday night’s Town of Silverton Trustee’s meeting addressed a few characterizing town processes and philosophical debates within this community. Trustees addressed and approved the Roberts Road. This road is the second measure towards developing the Shrine Hill.

Silverton Banked Slalom Race Fills Kendall

The Silverton Banked Slalom snowboard race was a sold-out two-day event that packed Kendall Mountain Ski Area. The contestants moved down a tightly curved banked course, and participants ranged from pros to local youngsters.
