SSJVD Called Upon by Ouray Fire Department to Assist with the Gold Mountain Fire

The Silverton San Juan Volunteer Fire Department received a request from the Ouray Volunteer Fire Department to come over and assist with the evacuation process due to the Gold Mountain Fire, which has been burning since June 27th.
