Help Silverton Family Learning Center Grow

The Silverton Family Learning Center is bursting at the seams despite going through a renovation this summer to help fit all the new students enrolling in the preschool, especially in their infant classroom. Silverton is seeing a surge in new babies being born, and so many are still on the way.

Wetlands Inventory Project Moves Forward

At last Monday’s Town of Silverton Trustee meeting, the wetland inventory project’s RFP was awarded to Ironwood Consulting, which is from the Four Corners area. The wetland mapping project will move forward this fall of 2023.

20 years ago September 26, 2003 35 years ago September 22, 1988 Silverton Community Radio (KSJC) took a step closer to being on the air Monday night when the Town Board agreed to allow the station to utilize a room in the Visitor’s Center on a trial basis.

Silverton Mountain Gets New Owners

Silverton Mountain is known worldwide for the unique big mountain skiing experience created by Aaron and Jen Brill.  The ski area was founded, built and has been continually operated by Aaron and Jen Brill since its inception in 1999 when Aaron first moved to Silverton.
