Winter 2024 is full of events, and both our local ski areas are now open for the winter season. Silverton Mountain, under new ownership starting this season, opened last week with great crowds.

December 23, 2023 - Silverton, Colorado - After completing its first full season of trail building, Silverton Singletrack Society (SSS) is excited to provide the community with a year-end update on the “Aspen Face Trails,” phase one of the Baker’s Park Trail System.

Silverton Kids Dance

Silverton seems to be becoming a home for the arts, which, thanks in part to two local teens, Rylan Jaramillo and Amelia Edwards, has extended to some of the town’s youngest residents.
