Nothing, not snow, damp, or wind, could deter Silverton kids from finding eggs this Easter Sunday! The Easter egg hunt was organized by Sterling Blankenship and held outside the San Juan Country Courthouse.

20 Years Ago Fees for 911 service to hit $1.75/month Cellphone and land-line users in San Juan County will be paying an extra 75 cents a month to support enhanced 911 service, starting this summer. The Colorado Public Utilities Commission in January approved the rate increase.

Anvil Subdivision Annexed into the Town of Silverton

On Monday, April 1st, 2024, the Town of Silverton held a ribbon- cutting ceremony at the Anvil Mountain Subdivision, and this was no April Fools joke.
