Col. Breen and Stanley received two live possums yesterday by express from New Orleans. They were the attraction of the day in town.
They are not branded, but one of them tried to brand Col.
Stanley and lost a tooth. As soon as the sweet potatoes, which are coming by freight, arrive, somebody will eat.
