San Juan County Historical Society photo Three young men seated atop Town of Silverton’s water wagon in the 1200 block, west side, of Blair Street, around 1935. The old Silverton Town Hall is in the background, its second story and bell tower still in place, but badly deteriorated. The water wagon has a hose attached and appears to be in good condition. Some kind of grading device is also on the street at the right, closer to the front of the Town Hall. From leftto right: Rudy Ferrari(?), Herman Marches, Renaldo M. “Snarky” Andreatta.
