This last month the Town of Silverton received the exciting news that they were chosen for $100,000 in prize monies. The Town applied for the Energizing Rural Communities Prize Program facilitated by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) to incentivize the development of clean energy projects in rural or remote areas in May of 2023.
