This summer season was busier than ever, and we are seeing a continued spike and growth in our tourism diversification, sales tax, local population, construction of new homes, and all-around growth in our mountain hamlet. Silverton’s summer season wrapped up this past Halloween weekend, and the last daily train excursion from Durango to Silverton was Saturday, October 28th.
