The Silverton Middle School trip Natalie Platt and Carl Schnitker The Silverton Middle School students traveled to Chicago for 10 days for their spring fieldwork. A group of Silverton locals took their dirt bikes out over the weekend to see the condition of the San Juan County backcountry roads. They didn’t get very far on most roads due to the snow berms still intact.
