San Juan County was well represented at the SARCon conference (Colorado Search & Rescue conference hosted by Centra & Flight for Life) this past weekend in Breckenridge. San Juan County’s Emergency Manager Jim Donovan & Silverton Medical Rescue’s Johnathan Wilson both taught courses this year. We had many Silverton/San Juan County emergency team members and Silverton Avalanche School attend and participate in this search and rescue conference.
