I have been visiting the Hillside Cemetery for 28 years. I have used and shared Freda Peterson’s books so much that they are falling apart. I have brought countless friends and visitors to the cemetery to show respect to all who are represented there.
In the last town meeting, several Trustees referred to the cemetery as a “sacred place.” And it is indeed sacred to me as well....
