Silverton’s newest Mayor, Dayna Kranker, was elected April 2nd, 2024, during the last Mayoral and Board of Trustee election, which resulted in four new trustee members and three board veterans to make up the seven seats. Mayor Kranker was elected by a far margin between her two competitors and will remain Silverton’s mayor till 2028 for a four-year term.
