The Gunnison County sheriff’s department announced that highway 50 through Blue Canyon is now fully open. Due to the extended closure on I-70 through Glenwood Canyon from a mudslide, the construction project on highway 50 is suspended until further notice. The current estimate for I-70 reopening is a few weeks.
