The Silverton Medical Rescue Team extracted a hiker who had been injured and spent two days stranded in Deer Park this past weekend.
On Monday, October 10th, the injured hiker was spotted by a passenger riding the Durango- Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, who notified the train’s conductor, who in turn alerted the Silverton Medical Rescue Team.
